Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, including account details such as your callsign, name, email address, station and profile information, QSO and logbook entries, QSL designs and images, uploaded files, messages, report submissions, and recipient contact details you provide, confirm, or interact with through the service. We also collect technical and usage information such as IP address, browser and device data, cookies, session identifiers, request metadata, and other activity needed to operate, secure, and improve DigiQSL.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and improve account, station, logbook, QSL creation, and messaging features
- Create, maintain, and secure your account and authenticated sessions
- Process user-initiated QSL emails, replies, uploads, and other communications
- Maintain contact-email records, delivery workflows, reply flows, and review or trust signals related to those workflows
- Investigate abuse, enforce rate limits, review queued or reported content, and protect the service and its users
- Respond to support requests and issue reports and communicate important service or account updates
QSL Email and Contact Data
When you use DigiQSL to send a QSL or related message, that communication is initiated by you. To carry out that action, we process the sender and recipient email addresses, QSO details, message content, attached card image or files, and related delivery metadata. Messages may be transmitted through DigiQSL-managed infrastructure, and recipients may receive the information needed to understand and reply to the communication, such as your callsign, message, QSO details, and reply-to email address. We may also store contact-email intelligence and reply observations associated with callsigns to support routing, reply handling, review workflows, and abuse prevention.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate DigiQSL, such as hosting, infrastructure, email delivery, security, and support providers. We also share the content and contact details necessary to deliver user-initiated QSLs or related communications to the recipients selected by users. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse or fraud, or enforce our Terms.
Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar mechanisms for authentication, session continuity, security, abuse prevention, user-flow state, and service preferences. Most of these technologies are necessary for core site functionality. You can control browser-level cookie behavior through your browser settings, although blocking required cookies may prevent parts of DigiQSL from working properly.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, investigate abuse, enforce our Terms, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and keep legitimate business records. This may include retaining certain QSO records, QSL confirmation links, historical QSL snapshots, and related metadata, assets, or references after account closure where reasonably necessary to preserve two-way confirmation integrity, maintain other users' records, prevent abuse, or satisfy legal obligations. Retention periods vary depending on the type of data and the purpose for which it was collected.
Your Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of certain personal data. Some information may need to be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, preservation of two-way confirmation integrity, support of other users' records, or legitimate recordkeeping purposes. Where self-service options are available, you may use them; otherwise, please contact us through our contact page.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. We will post the updated version on this page, and your continued use of DigiQSL after an update means you accept the revised policy to the extent permitted by law.

Introduction
Welcome to the DigiQSL Integration Chrome Extension. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our extension.

How We Use Information
The information is used only for:
- Extracting QSO data from QRZ.com

- Displaying QSO data in a popup window
Permissions
The extension needs the following permissions:
- activeTab: To interact with the current tab and extract QSO data.
- scripting: To inject scripts into the QRZ logbook page to extract and display QSO data.
- tabs: To create new tabs for sending QSL information to DigiQSL.
- host_permissions: To fetch QSO data from QRZ.com and DigiQSL.
Data Sharing
We do not share your personal information with any third parties. The extension only communicates with the specified hosts to fetch and process QSO data.
